Getting There

    If you're starting from Cardiff city centre, head southeast towards Queen Street. Walk along Queen Street until you reach the junction with St. Mary Street. Turn left onto St. Mary Street, then take a right onto Castle Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with North Road. Turn left onto North Road and walk until you see the entrance to Bute Park on your right. Enter Bute Park and follow the footpath leading towards the river. Continue along the path until you reach the entrance of the park. From Bute Park, follow the signs towards Roath Park Lake, which is about a 25-minute walk from the park entrance.

  • Bus

    From Cardiff city centre, locate the bus stop on Churchill Way. Take the number 24 or 25 bus towards Roath. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Roath Park' stop. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance towards Lake Road East, where you will find the entrance to Roath Park Lake on your right.
