    From Cardiff Central Station, take the train to Penarth. Trains to Penarth run frequently and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Penarth station, exit the station and head towards the Esplanade by turning left and walking straight until you reach the seafront. Turn right on the Esplanade, and you will see the Penarth Pier Pavilion ahead.

    Catch the number 93 or 94 bus from Cardiff City Centre. The bus stops are located on the side of the St. John’s Church, near the main shopping areas. The journey to Penarth takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the ‘Penarth Esplanade’ stop. After disembarking, head straight towards the sea, and you will find the Penarth Pier Pavilion just a short walk down the Esplanade.

    If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Cardiff to Penarth, which is approximately 3 miles (about 1 hour's walk). Start from Cardiff Bay by walking along the waterfront path towards Penarth. Follow the path that runs alongside the River Ely, and continue straight until you reach the Esplanade in Penarth.
