Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Down and head towards the A1 road. Follow signs for London. Once you get close to central London, take the exit towards the A400. Continue on the A400 until you reach Trafalgar Square. Nelson's Column is located in the center of the square. Bus services like the number 24, 29, and 176 serve this area. The cost for a single bus fare in London is around £1.65, but consider getting an Oyster card or using contactless payment for easier travel.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Down to Nelson's Column. This option will be more expensive, potentially costing around £60-£100 depending on traffic and distance. Taxis can be a convenient option for groups or if you have heavy luggage.
