From Dundee city centre, walk to the City Square and catch the X59 bus towards St Andrews. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'St Andrews, Bus Station' stop. Once you arrive at the bus station, exit and walk towards the coast. Follow the signs towards the Old Course, which is around a 15-minute walk from the station. Head down the North Street, then take a right onto the Golf Place, and continue straight until you reach W Sands Rd, where the Old Course is located.

Take a train from Dundee to Leuchars station, which takes about 10 minutes. Once at Leuchars, exit the station and catch the number 99 bus that goes directly to St Andrews. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the St Andrews, Bus Station, and from there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the Old Course. Walk down North Street, turn right onto Golf Place, and continue straight until you reach W Sands Rd.
