If you are starting from Durham Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head towards the bridge across the River Wear. Follow the path south, and you will reach the riverbank. Continue walking along the riverbank path for about 10 minutes, and you will see Prebends Bridge on your left, just before you reach the footbridge.

From the city centre (Market Place), head south on North Road until you reach the junction with South Street. Turn right onto South Street and continue straight until you reach the riverbank. Once you reach the river, follow the path along the water for about 15 minutes, and you will find Prebends Bridge on your right.

If you are near the Durham Bus Station, take the number 6 bus towards the University. Get off at the stop named 'Prebends Bridge.' From there, walk across the road and you will see the bridge directly ahead of you.
