If you are in the city center, you can take the bus to St Andrews. Board the Stagecoach bus number 99 or 99A from the bus station on St Andrew Square. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and will take you directly to St Andrews. Get off at the last stop, which is the bus station in St Andrews. From there, walk west along the main street (South Street) until you reach Kinburn Park. The museum is located within the park.

You can take a train from Edinburgh Waverley Station to Leuchars Station. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once at Leuchars, board the bus number 99 or 99A towards St Andrews. Get off at the bus station in St Andrews. From the bus station, walk west along South Street until you reach Kinburn Park, where the museum is located.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Edinburgh. Start your journey heading northeast towards Leith Walk, then continue onto the A91 road. Follow the signs for St Andrews.
