Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Southend Beach, start by navigating to the A127 road. From any location in Essex, follow local roads to reach the A127. Once on the A127, head towards Southend-on-Sea. Follow the signs for Southend, and take the exit onto the A13 towards Southend. Continue on the A13 until you reach Southend. Once you arrive in Southend, look for signs directing you to Marine Parade. Upon reaching Marine Parade, you will find Southend Beach directly along the seafront. There may be parking available along the parade, but be mindful of parking fees which can vary depending on the time of year.

• Train

  To reach Southend Beach by train, locate your nearest train station in Essex that services Southend. Most major stations will have connections to Southend Victoria or Southend Central stations. Purchase a ticket to either Southend station; prices vary based on your departure point. Once you arrive at Southend station, exit the station and head towards the seafront. It’s approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Marine Parade where Southend Beach is located. Follow signs to the seafront, or use a map application for directions.
