Getting There

  • Bus

    From the city center of Inverness, head to the Bus Station located on Margaret Street. Look for the bus service that heads towards Drumnadrochit or Fort Augustus. The bus you need is the Stagecoach route 19 or 919 which will take you towards Loch Ness. Get off at the stop for B852. Once you disembark, walk along the B852 road towards the Loch Ness View point, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the road until you reach the scenic area, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Loch Ness.

    If you prefer to walk, start in the city center at the Inverness Castle. Exit the castle grounds and head south on Castle Street towards the River Ness. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge. Continue along the riverbank path until you reach the roundabout at the junction of B865 and B852. Turn left onto B852 and follow this road for about 2 miles. It will take approximately 40-50 minutes of walking.
