    From Inverness city center, head to the bus station located at 1, Farraline Park, Inverness IV1 1NH. Take the 'Stagecoach' bus number 19 towards Dores. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. You will get off at the Dores Inn stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the lake, and you will see the beach area, which is just a short walk away.

  • Walking

    If you are already near the River Ness in Inverness, you can walk to Loch Ness Beach. Start from the Inverness Castle and head south along Castle Street. Continue onto Ness Walk, which follows the river. After about 1.5 miles, cross the bridge and continue on the A82 road towards Dores. Follow the A82 for about 2 miles, and you will reach Loch Ness Beach. It is a scenic walk but may take approximately 40-50 minutes.
