From Inverness city center, head to the Inverness Bus Station located on Margaret Street. Look for the bus service heading towards Fort Augustus or Drumnadrochit. You will need to catch a bus that runs along the A82 road. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Boleskine House stop. The bus trip should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, head back along the road towards the house, which is about a 10-minute walk up General Wade's Military Road.

If you prefer walking, start from the center of Inverness and make your way to the A82 road, which you can reach via Academy Street. Follow the A82 heading southeast towards Fort Augustus. After approximately 4 miles, you will reach General Wade's Military Road. Boleskine House will be visible along the road. The entire walk may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with comfortable footwear and water.
