If you are driving, Stott Park Bobbin Mill is located at Colton Hill, Lakeside, Ulverston LA12 8AX. From Ambleside, take the A593 towards Coniston and then the A5084 towards Ulverston. Follow the signs for Lakeside and then Colton Hill. There is a small parking area available at the mill, but it can fill up quickly, especially during peak tourist season. Please note that there may be a small fee for parking.

To reach Stott Park Bobbin Mill via public transport, take a train to Ulverston railway station. From there, you can catch a bus towards Lakeside. The bus service is operated by Stagecoach and runs frequently, but it is advisable to check the timetable for the latest information. Get off at the Lakeside stop, and from there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the mill. Follow the path leading up Colton Hill; the mill is well signposted.
