If you're driving, from the M6 motorway, take the exit for A591 towards Ambleside. Follow the A591 for approximately 25 miles until you reach Ambleside. Once in Ambleside, follow signs for Rydal and take the A5094 towards Rydal. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Rydal Mount Road. Rydal Mount and Gardens will be on your left at 1 Rydal Mount, LA22 9LU. Parking is available on-site but may incur a small fee during peak season.

Get off at the stop for Rydal Church, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from Rydal Mount. Head south on the A5094, then turn onto Rydal Mount Road, and you will find Rydal Mount on your left. The bus fare is approximately £5.50.
