If you are driving, the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway is located at Haverthwaite Station Nr, Ulverston LA12 8AL. From Windermere, take the A592 towards Bowness-on-Windermere, then continue on the A5074 until you reach the A590. Follow the A590 towards Ulverston and take the exit for A590 towards Haverthwaite. Follow the signs for Haverthwaite, and you will see the railway station on your left. There is a parking area available at the station, but be aware that parking may incur a small fee (typically around £2-£5 depending on the duration).
