From the center of Preston, take the A6 road heading north. Follow the A6 until you reach a roundabout and take the second exit onto the A583. Continue for approximately 3 miles, then turn left onto Brock Mill Lane. Follow this road for about half a mile, and you will find the Brock Valley Picnic Site on your right. There is free parking available on-site.

From Preston Bus Station, take the number 23 bus towards Claughton. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Brock Mill Lane.' From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Brock Valley Picnic Site. Head down Brock Mill Lane, and you will arrive at the picnic site.

Take a train from Preston Railway Station to the nearest station, which is 'Salwick.' The train journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Salwick Station, exit the station and head southwest on Station Road. Continue onto Brock Mill Lane, which will lead you directly to the Brock Valley Picnic Site. The walk from the station to the picnic site takes approximately 30 minutes.
