    From Llandudno, get onto the A55 road heading towards Bangor. Continue on the A55 for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit towards A5/Bangor/A487. Follow signs for the A5 and continue for about 6 miles. When you reach Bangor, follow signs for the A4086 towards Capel Curig. After about 3 miles, you'll see signs for Cwm Idwal. Follow the road leading to the Cwm Idwal car park, which is a popular starting point for walks in the area. Parking here may incur a fee, typically around £5 for the day.
