From Manchester Piccadilly Station, take a train towards Stoke-on-Trent. You will need to check the train times and board a train that stops at either Longport or Kidsgrove stations. The journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Longport or Kidsgrove, you will need to walk to a bus stop or taxi stand to continue to Leek.

If you arrive at Kidsgrove train station, you can catch bus number 18 towards Leek. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. If you arrive at Longport, you may need to take a taxi or look for alternative local buses to get to Leek. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance.

If you are already in Leek, you can reach Lud's Church by walking. From the town center, head southwest on Derby Street, then turn left onto St Edward Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A53. Cross the road and follow the path that leads to the footpath into the forest. Lud's Church is a short walk from the main road through the scenic countryside.
