Manchester Self Guided Treasure Hunt & Outdoor Exploration Game
Go Quest Manchester
Whilst it was an entertaining few hours in Manchester on this quest, unfortunately we did not find it as good as another similar provider we have used. We prefer the physical book type. Firstly it mentions needing pen and paper only after inputting quest details in. Reviewing long information and puzzles on a small screen was not ideal particularly when it requires screenshots or significant use of pen and paper. Most of them took a while to solve and just wasn’t quite the right balance being fun and frustration. In addition, there was no storyline and it required being familiar with the street names rather than providing proper orientation using landmarks at times. Furthermore, the use of What3Words was a bit pointless as it was just for a very short part. All in all, it was fun to stumble around Manchester and see hidden spots, but the overall experience could be better.

The Ultimate Go-Karting Adventure at Chaos Karts
A Brilliant Experience Once We Got Going!
We visited Chaos Karts as part of the Pass Bundle, which also included The Crystal Maze and the Pac-Man Experience. If you're planning to do all three attractions, I'd definitely recommend the bundle as it offers much better value for money than booking them separately. Unfortunately, the start of our visit wasn't quite as smooth as it could have been. There seemed to be a bit of confusion at reception. The member of staff wasn't the best at communicating what was happening, and although we had a 5:00 pm booking, we noticed people who had arrived after us being taken through first. We also hadn't been given wristbands like everyone else, so I had to go back to reception three times to check what was happening. As we needed to be somewhere else by 6:30 pm, we were starting to get a little concerned. Thankfully, after my third visit, we were taken through and everything got back on track. Once we were in, though, it was well worth the wait. The karts were comfortable and easy to drive, and the whole experience genuinely felt like stepping into a real-life Mario Kart game. Racing around the interactive track, collecting power-ups, dodging obstacles and trying to beat each other had us laughing the whole way through. The technology was really impressive, and it was unlike any karting experience we've done before. Whether you're competitive or just looking for something a bit different, it's a great attraction that's suitable for all ages. Although the confusion at the beginning stopped this being a five-star experience, the actual attraction was excellent and we'd happily do it again. If the check-in process was a little more organised and communication improved, it would have been perfect. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Chaos Karts, especially if you can book the Pass Bundle with The Crystal Maze and the Pac-Man Experience. It makes for a fantastic day out and offers excellent value for money.
