Getting There

    Start at Manchester Piccadilly Station. Take a train towards Buxton. The journey typically takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Buxton Station, exit the station and turn right onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto the A515. Follow this road for about half a mile and then turn left onto the Monsal Trail. The Millers Dale Viaduct will be along the trail, approximately a 15-minute walk from this point.

    From Manchester, head to the main bus station, Manchester Coach Station. Take the National Express or a local bus service that goes to Buxton. The bus journey can take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Buxton bus station, exit and walk towards the A515. Head right and follow the same directions as described for the train route to reach the Monsal Trail and the Millers Dale Viaduct.
