Car
If you are driving, head towards the A487 road which connects several towns and villages in Merionethshire. From Dolgellau, take the A494 towards Bala. After about 10 miles, take the A4212 towards the A5 and continue until you reach the A5. Turn left onto the A5 and follow the signs for Menai Bridge. Once you reach Menai Bridge, follow the signs to Lon Ganol, where Cytir Mawr is located. There is no dedicated parking, but you may find street parking nearby.

To reach Cytir Mawr via public transport, first take a bus from your location in Merionethshire to Bangor. The bus services like the Arriva Cymru run frequently. Once in Bangor, transfer to a local bus service (such as the 5 or 85) that goes to Menai Bridge. Upon reaching Menai Bridge, you can either walk to Lon Ganol or take a taxi for a short trip. The walking distance from the bus stop to Cytir Mawr is approximately 15 minutes.
