Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of The Lace Market, head south on St. Mary's Gate. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the first exit onto Nottingham's High Street. Keep walking for about 5 minutes until you see the entrance to the National Justice Museum on your left. The City of Caves is located within the museum, so enter the building and follow the signs to the caves. There is no additional cost to enter the museum if you already have a ticket for the City of Caves.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch a bus from the Lace Market area. Walk to the bus stop located on Fletcher Gate. Take the Nottingham City Transport Bus Number 34 or 36 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Victoria Centre'. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Garner's Hill. Head south on Glasshouse Street, then turn left onto Nottingham's High Street, and finally turn right onto Garner's Hill. The entrance to the City of Caves will be on your left, within the National Justice Museum. Make sure to check the bus schedule as there might be a small fare for the journey.
