If you are starting from the corner of St. Mary's Gate and Hockley, walk south along Hockley until you reach the intersection with High Pavement. Turn left onto High Pavement. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Lace Market Square, which will be on your right. The square is a vibrant area surrounded by historic buildings, shops, and cafes.
