From the Oxford city center, head towards the west along High Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with St. Aldate's Street. Turn left onto St. Aldate's Street and walk for about 5 minutes. You'll see the entrance to the Oxford Castle and Prison on your right. Enter the site and follow the signs to Saint George's Tower, which is located within the grounds.

If you are starting from the Ashmolean Museum, exit the museum and head south on Beaumont Street. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with St. Aldate's Street. Turn right onto St. Aldate's Street and walk for approximately 10 minutes. The entrance to Oxford Castle and Prison will be on your right-hand side. Once inside, follow the signs to Saint George's Tower.
