If you are driving, start from the town center of Renfrew. Head southeast on the A8 toward Glasgow. After about 6 miles, keep right to merge onto the M8 motorway toward Glasgow. Continue on the M8 for about 4 miles, then take exit 15 toward A804/City Center. Follow signs for the A804 and merge onto Castle Street. The Glasgow Necropolis will be on your right at Castle St, Glasgow G4 0UZ. There is limited street parking available nearby.

To reach the Glasgow Necropolis by public transport, start at Renfrew Bus Station. Take bus number 26 or 38 toward Glasgow. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at George Square. From George Square, walk northeast on Queen Street and then turn left onto Castle Street. The Glasgow Necropolis will be on your right at Castle St, Glasgow G4 0UZ. The total walking distance from the bus stop is about 0.5 miles.
