Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start on the A82 road heading north from Fort William or south from Inverness. Follow the A82 until you reach the A87 junction near Invergarry. Turn onto the A87, and continue for about 5 miles until you reach the Glen Garry Viewpoint on your left. There is a dedicated parking area for visitors. There are no entry fees or parking charges.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus service that operates between Fort William and Inverness. The Citylink buses provide regular services along this route. Upon reaching Invergarry, you may need to walk about 1 mile along the A87 to reach the Glen Garry Viewpoint. Be cautious while walking on the roadside, as there are no specific pedestrian pathways. Check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle, you can rent a bike in Fort William or Inverness. Take the A82 north towards Invergarry, then switch to the A87. The ride is approximately 20 miles from Fort William or about 30 miles from Inverness. Note that the roads can be busy, so ensure you wear appropriate safety gear and follow cycling regulations. Plan for a leisurely pace and take breaks to enjoy the scenic views.

• Walking/Trekking

  For the more adventurous, consider a trekking route. However, this requires prior planning and knowledge of the area. If you're starting from Invergarry, head along the A87 as mentioned earlier, but be prepared for a longer trek.
