Getting There

  • Bus

    Start at Inverness Bus Station, located at Margaret Street, IV1 1LT. Take the Stagecoach bus number 919 towards Fort William. The bus departs regularly, so check the schedule online or at the station. Ride the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. You will want to get off at the stop called 'Glenmoriston, Dundreggan'. Once you exit the bus, the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southeast on the A887 road, then take a left onto the path that leads up to the centre, following the signs for Dundreggan Estate.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Inverness. Start from the city centre and head towards the A82 road. Follow the A82 south until you reach the junction with the A887. Turn left onto the A887 and continue for about 6 miles. The Dundreggan Rewilding Centre will be on your left. Be cautious of traffic, as this route includes busy roads.

  • Walking

    For the adventurous, you can walk from Inverness to Dundreggan Rewilding Centre. Start at the Inverness city centre and head southwest towards the A82 road. Follow the A82, then take the A887 road south towards Glenmoriston. This is a long trek, approximately 14 miles, so ensure you're prepared with water and snacks. The journey will take around 4-5 hours. Upon reaching the Dundreggan Estate, you will find the Rewilding Centre along the road.
