If you are traveling by car, head towards the A970 road from your current location in Shetland. Follow the A970 until you reach the junction with the A971. Turn onto the A971 and continue until you reach the small village of Sandwick. From Sandwick, follow the signs to the Broch of Mousa, which is located on Mousa Island. You can park your car at the Sandwick car park near the ferry terminal.

After parking, take the ferry from Sandwick to Mousa. The ferry service is operated by Mousa Boat Trips, and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. It's advisable to check the ferry schedule in advance, as it may vary depending on the season and weather conditions. A round-trip fare for adults is around £10, and children under 12 can travel for half price. Make sure to bring cash as not all operators accept card payments.

Once you arrive on Mousa Island, follow the marked walking path from the ferry landing to the Broch of Mousa. The walk is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) and takes about 20-30 minutes. The path is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, so take your time to enjoy the scenery.
