Car
If you are driving to Plas Tan y Bwlch, start from the A487 road. If you are coming from Porthmadog, head north on the A487 for about 8 miles until you reach the junction for the A496. Turn left onto the A496 towards Blaenau Ffestiniog. Continue for about 4 miles and upon reaching Maentwrog, look for the sign for Plas Tan y Bwlch. Turn left onto the B4407 road, and you will see the entrance to Plas Tan y Bwlch on your right. There is parking available on-site, and it is free of charge.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a train to Blaenau Ffestiniog from major cities like Manchester or Liverpool. Once you arrive at Blaenau Ffestiniog train station, you can take a local bus (No. 1 or 2) towards Maentwrog. Ask the driver to drop you off at Plas Tan y Bwlch. The bus ride is about 10-15 minutes. Please check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary, especially on weekends and holidays.
