If you're driving, head towards Cardiff city center. Use the M4 motorway and take exit 29 for the A48(M) towards Cardiff. Continue on the A48(M) until you reach the junction for the A4161. Merge onto A4161 and follow signs for Cardiff Bay. After crossing over the river, turn left onto Bute Street. Continue straight and follow the road signs to Cardiff Bay. Once you reach the area, look for Assembly Square, Britannia Quay. Roath Lock is located at the end of the square. Ensure you check for parking options nearby, as fees may apply.

To reach Roath Lock via bus, find your nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Cardiff Bay.
