The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at 'Loch Ard Forest'. You will need to walk a short distance from the bus stop to reach the main entrance of Loch Ard Forest.

Start at Stirling Railway Station. Take a train towards Balloch or Dumbarton Central and alight at the nearest station to Aberfoyle, which is usually in the direction of Balloch. Once you arrive, walk to the Aberfoyle bus stop and catch bus number 62 or 63 towards Stirling or the surrounding areas. Inform the driver to let you off at 'Loch Ard Forest'. After getting off, follow the signs to the forest, which should be a short walk away.
