Getting There

• Bus

  From Stratford-upon-Avon, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Bridge Street. Take the Stagecoach bus number 50 towards Bourton-on-the-Water. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Bourton-on-the-Water bus stop. From there, follow the signs towards the village center. The Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection is located on Sherborne Street, just a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Walk straight down the main street until you reach the Old Mill, where the museum is situated.

• Train and Bus

  Start at Stratford-upon-Avon train station. Take a train to Moreton-in-Marsh, which takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Moreton-in-Marsh, exit the station and head to the bus stop directly outside. Take the bus number 801 or 802 towards Bourton-on-the-Water. After about 25 minutes, get off at Bourton-on-the-Water. From the bus stop, walk straight into the village, and follow the signs to Sherborne Street. The Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection is located at The Old Mill on this street.

• Walking

  If you are already in the center of Stratford-upon-Avon and prefer to walk, head towards the River Avon. Cross the river via the pedestrian bridge and continue walking along the riverbank until you reach the main road. Follow the signs for the A439 and then take the footpath leading towards Bourton-on-the-Water. It's a scenic route, approximately 5-6 miles long, so be prepared for a longer walk of about 2 hours. Once you reach Bourton-on-the-Water, follow the local signs to Sherborne Street and find the museum at The Old Mill.
