Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Linlithgow. Head west on the A904 towards South Queensferry. After approximately 7 miles, turn right onto the B800, following signs for Abercorn. Continue along the B800 for about 1 mile until you see signs for Midhope Castle. The castle will be on your right, and there is limited parking available on-site.

    To reach Midhope Castle using public transport, take a train from Linlithgow Station to South Queensferry. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at South Queensferry Station, exit and catch bus number 43 towards Edinburgh. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the Abercorn stop.
