If you're starting from York Minster, head south on Minster Yard, then turn left onto Ogleforth. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Goodramgate. Turn right and walk until you reach the end of Goodramgate. At the traffic lights, cross over to the other side and continue straight onto Piccadilly. Fishergate Postern Tower will be on your left after a short walk.

Follow the road as it curves into Toft Green and continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Piccadilly. Cross over and continue walking straight along Piccadilly. The Fishergate Postern Tower will be located on your left-hand side.

If you are at the Shambles, walk towards the end of the street until you reach the junction with Pavement. Turn left onto Pavement and continue straight until you reach the junction with Piccadilly. Turn right onto Piccadilly and walk straight for a few minutes. You will see Fishergate Postern Tower on your left.
