Start at York City Centre and make your way to the 'York Railway Station'. From the station, catch the East Yorkshire bus number 45 towards 'Barton-upon-Humber'. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and will take you through picturesque countryside. Make sure to inform the driver that your destination is Humber Bridge. Disembark at the Humber Bridge stop. From there, follow the signs towards the bridge, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Begin at York Railway Station and take a train towards 'Hull'. After about a 30-minute journey, get off at 'Brough Station'. From Brough, catch the East Yorkshire bus number 155 towards 'Barton-upon-Humber'. The bus will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Humber Bridge, then walk towards the bridge, which should take around 10 minutes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in York. Start from the city centre and cycle towards the A1079, heading south. Follow the signs for the 'Humber Bridge', which is approximately a 15-mile ride. The route will take you through scenic countryside and is mostly on quiet roads. Upon reaching the Humber Bridge, there are cycling paths that allow you to cross the bridge safely.
