If you are starting from York Minster, head south on Minster Yard toward Duncombe Place. Continue onto High Petergate, then turn left onto Stonegate. Walk straight until you reach the end of Stonegate, then turn right onto Petergate. Continue onto the street as it becomes Ousegate. Follow Ousegate until you reach the junction with St Denys Rd. Turn left onto St Denys Rd, and you will find St Denys's Church on your left side.

Continue straight until you reach a fork, keep left onto the road leading to the city center. At the next junction, turn right onto St Denys Rd, and St Denys's Church will be on your left.
