Walking
If you are starting from York Minster, head east on Minster Yard towards Duncombe Place. Continue on Duncombe Place until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the A19 (High Ousegate). Cross over the road and continue straight onto Stonegate. Follow Stonegate until you reach the end, then turn left onto Petergate. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Museum Gardens on your right. Once in the gardens, follow the path leading towards the River Ouse, then take a left and walk along the riverbank. After a short walk, you will see a path leading up to the Robin Hood Tower on your left.

From the York City Centre, walk to the bus stop located at the end of Parliament Street. Take the number 5 bus towards Monkgate. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Disembark at the Monkgate stop. From the bus stop, walk along Monkgate for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Robin Hood Tower on your right.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Ouse Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river until you reach the path that leads up to Monkgate. Continue cycling along Monkgate, and after a few minutes, you will arrive at the Robin Hood Tower, which will be on your left.
