Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Punta del Este, take Route 10 towards Maldonado. After approximately 20 km, merge onto Route 9 at the roundabout. Continue on Route 9 for about 15 km until you reach the intersection with Route 12. Turn left onto Route 12 and follow the signs for Alto de La Ballena. The winery is located at approximately 20400 Maldonado Department, which is just off Route 12. Look for the winery's sign as you approach.

  • Public Transportation

    From Punta del Este, you can take a bus to Maldonado. The bus company 'COT' operates services from Punta del Este to Maldonado. Once you arrive in Maldonado, you will need to take another bus or a taxi to reach Alto de La Ballena. Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation to the winery, so a taxi may be the most convenient option from Maldonado. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes and cost around $15-20 USD.
