Car
From the center of Cerro Arequita, head southeast on Ruta 12 (also known as Ruta 109) for approximately 10 kilometers. Follow the signs towards El Edén. Once you reach the intersection with Ruta 9, turn left. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Cerro de La Mina. Turn onto the dirt road indicated. You'll need to drive carefully as the road can be rough. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the parking area near Cerro de La Mina.

Start at the main bus terminal in Cerro Arequita. Look for a bus heading to El Edén. Buses run approximately every hour, and the fare is around UYU 50-100 (check for current prices). After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to El Edén. From there, you will need to walk about 3 kilometers to reach the entrance of Cerro de La Mina.
