If you are starting from the Plaza Mayor, head southeast towards the Calle de los Suspiros. Walk along this historic street until you reach the intersection with Calle San Pedro. Turn right onto Calle San Pedro. Continue straight for about 300 meters, and you will see the entrance to San Miguel Bastion on your left.

From the Basilica del Santísimo Sacramento, exit the church and turn left onto Calle 25 de Mayo. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Calle San Pedro. Turn left onto Calle San Pedro, and after about 200 meters, San Miguel Bastion will be on your right.

Starting from the Colonia del Sacramento Lighthouse, head southwest towards the coast. Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the view of the river.
