Getting There

Walking
Start from the Maldonado town center, specifically at Plaza San Fernando. From the plaza, head southeast on Avenida Acuña de Figueroa towards Avenida Batlle y Ordóñez. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Gorlero. Turn left onto Avenida Gorlero, which will take you towards Punta del Este. Walk along Avenida Gorlero until you reach the coastline. Once you arrive at the beach, turn right and continue walking along the coast until you reach the Punta del Este Lighthouse. From the lighthouse, head southwest along the coast, and keep walking for about 15 minutes. You will eventually see Mailhos Dock, located at coordinates 23R3+HWF, just off the shore.

From the Maldonado bus terminal, take the local bus heading to Punta del Este. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Punta del Este Lighthouse stop. Once you get off, walk southwest along the coastline for about 15 minutes. You will reach Mailhos Dock at coordinates 23R3+HWF.
