If you are driving from the center of Piriápolis, head east on Avenida Piria toward Ruta 10. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ruta 10. Turn left onto Ruta 10 and follow the road for approximately 12 kilometers. As you approach Punta del Este, keep an eye out for the signs indicating El Faro. You will see it located at the southern tip of Punta del Este, near the coastline.
