If you're traveling by car from central Queguay, start on Route 26 heading northwest. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Take a right turn onto Route 3 and drive for approximately 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for a sign for Lorenzo Geyres on your left. After turning onto the road leading to Lorenzo Geyres, continue straight for about 3 kilometers. You will see Calzada del Rio Queguay on your right; it is a popular area with plenty of parking spaces available.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Queguay. Look for buses heading to Lorenzo Geyres; these typically run every hour. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking at the Lorenzo Geyres stop, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer towards Calzada del Rio Queguay, following the signs or asking locals for directions. It’s a pleasant walk as you will pass through local neighborhoods.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Queguay. Taxis are readily available and can provide a more comfortable travel experience. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes and cost around 400 Uruguayan Pesos (about $10 USD). Just ensure the driver knows you want to visit Calzada del Rio Queguay in Lorenzo Geyres.
