From Rocha, head southwest on Route 9 towards Punta del Diablo. After about 15 km, take the exit onto Route 303. Follow Route 303 for approximately 9 km until you see signs for the Fortress of Santa Teresa. The fortress will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for the fortress itself, but expect to pay for parking if you choose to park in designated areas.

From Rocha, take a bus heading towards Punta del Diablo. Buses typically leave from the main bus terminal in Rocha. After about 30 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off near the intersection with Route 303. From there, you can either walk about 2 km to the fortress or wait for a local taxi (which may cost around 200-300 Uruguayan Pesos) to take you the rest of the way.
