If you're traveling by car from the Santa Lucia River Basin, start by heading towards Route 11. Follow Route 11 south until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 heading southwest towards Montevideo. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers. As you approach Montevideo, keep an eye out for signs that direct you to the 'Puente Giratorio de Santa Lucia'. The bridge is located on Rbla. Escribano Dardo Ortiz, and it will be on your right side after crossing the river. There is no specific parking lot, but you can find street parking nearby.

To reach Puente Giratorio de Santa Lucia by public transport, take a bus from Santa Lucia River Basin to the Montevideo central bus terminal (Terminal Tres Cruces). The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 150 Uruguayan Pesos. Once you arrive at the terminal, take bus number 142 or 174 towards 'Rbla. Escribano Dardo Ortiz'. This bus will take you closer to the bridge. Get off at the nearest stop and walk a short distance to the bridge. Make sure to check the latest bus schedules and fares for any updates.
