Car
From the center of Sierras de Carapé, head southeast on Route 12 towards Aiguá. Continue on Route 12 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a right onto Route 39. Follow Route 39 for about 10 kilometers. You will then encounter a small sign indicating 'Los Romerillos'. Turn left and follow the unpaved road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the designated area. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the road may be uneven.
Public Transportation
From Sierras de Carapé, take a bus heading towards Aiguá. Buses typically depart from the central bus station and the journey should take about 30-40 minutes, costing around 100 Uruguayan Pesos. Once in Aiguá, you can either take a taxi (which may cost around 400-600 Uruguayan Pesos) or arrange for a local ride via an app (if available) to get to Los Romerillos. If you choose to walk, note that it is approximately 8 kilometers from the bus terminal, which may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
