Car
If you're driving from Moab, take US-191 S, then merge onto I-70 W. After approximately 40 miles, take exit 149 for US-191 S toward Monticello. Continue on US-191 S until you reach the junction with UT-313. Follow UT-313 into Canyonlands National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Island in the Sky district. From the Grand View Point Overlook, continue driving along the park road until you reach the junction with the Elephant Hill Trailhead. Park your car in the designated parking area. Be aware that there may be an entrance fee for the national park, typically around $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
