To reach Slickrock Divide from any point in Capitol Reef National Park, begin by navigating to the main road, Highway 24. If you are near the Visitor Center, head east on Highway 24. Continue driving for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with the Burr Trail Road. Turn south onto Burr Trail Road (this road may require a high-clearance vehicle depending on conditions). After about 9.5 miles, you will arrive at the Slickrock Divide trailhead, where you can park and begin your adventure.
