Getting There

    From Cedar City, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the Greyhound or a local shuttle service heading towards Springdale. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Springdale stop. Once you arrive in Springdale, the Emerald Pools Trailhead is about a 10-minute walk away. Exit the bus and walk west along Zion Park Boulevard (Highway 9) until you reach the entrance to Zion National Park. The trailhead is clearly marked and is a short distance from the entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Cedar City. Start your journey by heading south on Main Street. Follow the bike path leading to the scenic route towards Springdale. It is approximately a 40-minute ride, so ensure you have plenty of water. Upon reaching Springdale, continue on Zion Park Boulevard, and you will find signs directing you to the Emerald Pools Trailhead, which is located near the entrance to Zion National Park.
