Walking
From the center of Cedar City, head west on E 200 N towards N Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with N Main St. Turn left onto N Main St and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants. After reaching the intersection with W 200 S, continue straight as Main St turns into N 300 W. After another 0.5 miles, you will reach the Cedar City Heritage Center. From there, follow the signs to the W Rim Trail, which will lead you into the outdoor areas.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start at the Cedar City Library. Head east on E 100 N, then turn left onto N Main St. Continue biking down Main St for about 1 mile. You will see signs for the W Rim Trail. As you approach the trailhead, there will be a bike rack where you can park your bike before heading onto the trail.
Public Transport
Take the local bus from the Cedar City Transit Center. Board the bus that heads towards the Southern Utah University campus. Get off at the stop near the campus entrance. From there, walk north on S 300 W for about 0.5 miles until you reach the W Rim Trail entrance. Look for trail signs along the way.
