From the nearest major city, Kanab, UT, head south on US-89. Continue on US-89 for approximately 15 miles. Look for a well-marked turn-off for Sand Caves on your right. The turn-off is about 0.5 miles past the junction with 4th Ave. Once you turn off, follow the dirt road for about 0.3 miles until you reach the parking area. Note that the dirt road may require a high-clearance vehicle if it has recently rained.
