From the center of Dixie National Forest, head southeast on US-89 S. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with UT-12 E. Take the exit toward UT-12 E and continue on UT-12 E for about 15 miles. Look for the sign for Losee Canyon Trail, and turn left onto Losee Canyon Trail 33090. Follow this road for about 1 mile, and you'll see the Arches Trailhead on your right.
Public Transportation
While direct public transportation options are limited in this remote area, you can take a bus to the nearest major town (Panguitch) and then use a taxi or rideshare service to get to the trailhead. From Panguitch, head north on UT-143 for about 5 miles, then turn onto Losee Canyon Trail 33090. The trailhead is roughly 1 mile down this road. Ensure to check for local taxi services or rideshare availability ahead of time, as they may not be readily available.
Biking
If you're up for a biking adventure, you can rent a bike in Panguitch. Start by heading north on UT-143. After about 5 miles, turn onto Losee Canyon Trail 33090. Keep in mind that the trail can be steep and rugged, so be prepared for a challenging ride. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water.
